A waste-to-energy plant in Perth that takes bio-solids and transforms them into high-grade nutrient products. This design is predisposed on bringing best practice innovation to an often neglected industrial typology, the shed. The building is constructed of mass timber, sustainably sourced, carbon-neutral, and high-strength. It also has a much lower fire index than standard steel and chars which helps maintain structural stability in the case of a fire.

Interest in this process and this space will be great and as such the building responds with quiet confidence and presence. It is tall, elegant, and full of light, reminiscent of sacred gathering spaces around the world.

The plant is located at the source of the processing, meaning that the lifecycle of the waste product is directly captured and extended.
